The
Angel Trilogy represents
a collaborative project
spanning three consecutive
years between artist
Marian Bruce and writer
Crysse Morrison. Three
separate installations
Angel Voices (July
2002), Angel Bride
(July 2003) and Scarlet Angel (July 2004) |

The
notion of angelic
beings, whether celestial
or fallen has long
inspired artists and
poets. The work draws
on powerful personal
emotions as well as
classical iconography
and has been seen
by some as challenging,
even painful. |
