Angel Catcher - Samuel Lee
SAMUEL LEE
Samuel Lee lives and works in rural France. He exhibits and makes site-specific installations in galleries and outside in the public context. Although he has often used paint, he is constantly drawn into making constructs and using found objects which throw up new directions and possibilities, constantly feeding off mark-making, drawing and photography.

As a printmaker, he has worked on projects for artists such as Howard Hodgkin, Gillian Ayres. Influences include Christo and Andy Goldsworthy.

MUTALIB MAN

Mutalib Man, born in Malaysia, lives and works in London. His work has origins in the materials, artefacts, plants and custom familiar to him from his Malaysian background. He believes that this forms part of his very identity and makes his themes valid conveyors of human spirituality and emotion.

He was recently selected for the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2010, and his work has been collected, amongst others, by the National Gallery of Malaysia.
